Kazakhstan Ranks 100th in Global Terrorism Index 2025
In the recently published 2025 Global Terrorism Index (GTI) by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), Kazakhstan has secured the 100th position. The GTI evaluates countries based on the impact of terrorism, with a lower rank signifying a lower risk of terrorism. Kazakhstan, along with the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan, scored 0 points, indicating a very low risk of terrorism in these Central Asian countries.
Uzbekistan is ranked 90th with 0.233 points, while Tajikistan holds the 70th position with 0.999 points. The report highlights the top three countries with the highest levels of terrorism as Burkina Faso, Pakistan, and Syria.
