KTSYD: Celebrating 40 Years!
The Cyprus Turkish Sports Writers Association (KTSYD) is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In a message released by KTSYD President Burhan Gürkan, he highlighted the efforts of the founding members, past presidents and administrations, current members, and all those who have made significant contributions to the association, whether they are members or not. Gürkan emphasized the importance of young people in continuing to raise the bar in the future and extended his wishes for a happy anniversary and 40 more successful years.
Reflecting on the journey of the organization, Gürkan expressed optimism for the future, stating that KTSYD will move forward with enthusiasm and without losing hope. He acknowledged the vital role played by the media in providing information to the public, particularly in today’s rapidly developing and changing world. Gürkan also emphasized the crucial role of sports journalism in attracting a wide audience and ensuring that sports news reaches a larger readership.
