Kumtor Gold Company Invests in Domestic Production by Purchasing Chevrolet Trackers
Bishkek – 16:28, 23 October 2024 – Kumtor Gold Company has taken a step towards supporting domestic production by renewing and modernizing its service vehicle fleet. The company recently purchased several crossovers Chevrolet Tracker, produced at the Tulpar Motors plant.
According to the press service of the company, the newly acquired Chevrolet Trackers will replace the older cars that have reached the end of their service life. These vehicles will be used for official purposes both in Bishkek and in the regions.
Tulpar Motors plant, located in Ak-Suu village, Chui region, started producing Chevrolet cars, including sedans Cobalt and Onix, and Tracker crossovers in July. These vehicles are assembled from CKD kits supplied by UzAuto Motors from Uzbekistan.
The decision to purchase cars from a domestic plant not only supports local production but also contributes to the modernization of the service vehicle fleet of Kumtor Gold Company. This move showcases the company’s commitment to sustainability and investment in the local economy.
