Bishkek State Hospital of Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Named After Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
On September 6, 2024, the Bishkek State Hospital of Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship was officially named after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This decision was made by Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, in recognition of President Erdogan’s exceptional contribution to strengthening and developing the relationship between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The hospital, a non-profit organization, focuses on improving the quality of medical and diagnostic services and safeguarding the health of the citizens. Since its establishment, the Friendship Hospital has provided the country’s population with access to advanced medical services.
The medical center boasts various departments, including emergency medical services, anesthesia, therapeutic, gastroenterology, general surgery, pulmonology, cardiovascular surgery, and cardiology departments, in addition to a polyclinic and radiology department. Apart from providing medical care to the public, the hospital is also involved in scientific research activities.
The decision to name the hospital after President Erdogan highlights the strong bond between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey and acknowledges the invaluable contributions made by the Turkish President towards enhancing healthcare in the region.
