Kyrgyzstan and Brunei Partner in Energy and Halal Industry

Bishkek – On February 7, 2025, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation and ways for its further development. The meeting highlighted the desire for interregional cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and ASEAN, in addition to bilateral political dialogue.

President Japarov shared information about ongoing reforms, modernization efforts, and the construction of social and economic facilities, as well as the active development of international transport corridors, including the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project.
