Kyrgyzstan Curling Team Falls Short in Asian Winter Games
The curling team of Kyrgyzstan faced disappointment as they failed to advance to the next round in the mixed doubles tournament at the Asian Winter Games in China. Iskhak Abykeev and Keremet Asanbaeva represented Kyrgyzstan in the competition, finishing in fourth place in their group with one win and four losses.
Despite the setback, the team will have another chance to redeem themselves as they gear up for the men’s team tournament set to start on February 9. The national team of Kyrgyzstan will be looking to make a stronger showing in this upcoming event.
The IX Asian Winter Games are currently taking place in China from February 7 to February 14. Kyrgyzstan is participating in various winter sports, including biathlon, alpine skiing, figure skating, hockey, and curling.
