Woman Falls to Her Death While Cleaning Windows in Turkey
A tragic incident occurred in Edirne’s 1st Murat District, as Sevil Diri, a 44-year-old woman, fell to her death. Diri was cleaning the windows of her fifth-floor apartment in the Doğukent apartment block when she fell onto the concrete floor. The incident was witnessed by people nearby, who immediately notified the police and medical teams.
Upon arrival, the medical teams confirmed that Diri had died from the fall. Her body was taken to Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital morgue for an autopsy after the police and prosecutor had examined it.
Diri, who was a married woman and had one child, was originally from Edirne. Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding her death.
