Man Fatally Attacks Wife in Subway Amid Divorce: Last Minute Updates from Turkey
A tragic incident occurred at the Sıhhiye Metro Station exit between a couple going through a divorce. Cafer Bozdemir and Döne Bozdemir got into a heated argument which escalated to violence when Cafer Bozdemir pulled out a gun and shot his wife.
Döne Bozdemir was seriously injured by the bullet that struck her back. The people around were able to intervene and neutralize Cafer Bozdemir before the situation escalated further.
Upon receiving notification, police and medical teams rushed to the scene. Despite the efforts of the medical team, Döne Bozdemir tragically lost her life. Cafer Bozdemir was subsequently detained by the police for further investigation.
