Man in Eskişehir abuses dog and curses onlookers filming incident
Police in Eskişehir, Turkey have taken action against a man caught on camera abusing his dog in the Şirintepe Neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district. The incident, which was recorded by a concerned citizen and shared on social media, sparked outrage in the community.
The suspect, identified as 28-year-old YK, was detained by police after a thorough investigation. However, after being taken to the courthouse, YK was surprisingly released by the Criminal Court of Peace following his statement to the prosecutor.
After his release, YK reportedly continued to intimidate and threaten those who spoke out against his actions. In response to public outcry, the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office objected to the court’s decision and the suspect was once again detained by police.
