Mandora Mandarin Launches Over-Limit Protection Product – BRTK Detection

The Department of Agriculture, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, recently released inspection results for imported and domestically produced food. Between January 17-23, it was reported that 34 samples of imported products were clean, while 35 out of 37 samples of domestic products were also clean. However, two domestic products were found to contain over-limit plant protection products.

One of the domestic products affected was Mandora Mandarin, owned by Hasan Karabulut and Recep Tümtürk, residents of Doğancı village. The presence of the over-limit plant protection product led to the immediate halt of the product’s harvest until further laboratory analysis can be conducted.

The Department of Agriculture is taking measures to ensure the safety and quality of food products available in the market, both imported and domestic. Consumers are advised to stay informed about food safety regulations and to report any suspicious products to relevant authorities.

It is important to prioritize food safety and quality to protect public health and promote a sustainable agriculture industry. The Department of Agriculture will continue to monitor and enforce regulations to maintain the integrity of the food supply chain.
