
Many Homes in 11th Bishkek Microdistrict Face Heating Issues

Heating and Hot Water Supply Temporarily Suspended in Bishkek’s 11th Microdistrict
Residents of the 11th microdistrict of Bishkek were left without heating and hot water today, February 24, as repair work on the heating network is being conducted. The shutdown, which started at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to last until 6 p.m., affects several residential buildings and a kindergarten in the area.
According to the press service of the Bishkek City Hall, the heating and hot water supply have been stopped in buildings No. 2, 15, 16, 17, 17/1, 17a, 18, 19, 20, 20/6, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and kindergarten No. 94. This interruption is necessary to replace an old section of the heating network.
In light of the inconvenience, Bishkekteploset municipal enterprise is asking residents to be patient and understanding during this temporary disruption. It is recommended that residents affected by the shutdown make alternative arrangements for heating and hot water during this period.
