Minister Akardan Stresses Anti-Terrorism Efforts
Turkish Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, attended the “Welcome to Summer Festival” of Erciyes Anadolu Holding in Kayseri and met with local tradesmen. During the event, Akar highlighted the importance of Turkey’s fight against terrorism and stated that they will overcome all obstacles to reach their goals with the support of the nation. Akar emphasized that significant gains have been made in the fight against terrorism and that these gains should not be lost. He also warned against the dangers of making concessions and promises to terrorists, saying that the noble Turkish nation will never allow it.
With national elections fast approaching, Akar also expressed concerns over the potential influence of terrorist organizations and their affiliated parties on the electoral process. He urged all citizens to carefully evaluate their options and to consider the risks of cooperating with terrorists or supporting parties that do. Finally, Akar expressed confidence in the strength and resilience of the Turkish people, saying that together, they will overcome any challenge and emerge stronger than ever before.
