The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Israeli Foreign Minister’s Statements
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong response to the recent remarks made by the Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar. In a written statement, the ministry expressed its disapproval of Saar’s comments on social media.
“We reject the disrespectful statement made by the Foreign Minister of the Netanyahu government,” the statement read. It further highlighted that the remarks made by Saar were an attempt to divert attention from the crimes committed by Netanyahu and his allies.
The ministry also warned against Israel’s escalating violence in Gaza and other regions, stating that it would only lead to further destabilization. It stressed that Turkey’s stance on the matter remains resolute and unwavering.
“No amount of propaganda from Israeli officials can hide the truth about Turkey’s position. We will continue to support innocent civilians affected by Israeli aggression and defend their rights,” the statement concluded.
The Israeli Foreign Minister had recently posted derogatory remarks targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on social media, further aggravating tensions between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains committed to upholding Turkey’s principles and defending the rights of those affected by conflict.
