
MND France Plans to Construct Chimyon International Resort

French company MND France is set to begin construction on the Chimyon international all-season resort, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The company emerged as the winner of a tender announced by the SUE “Construction and operation of Beldersoy–Chimyon–Nanay”, a project to construct the Chimyon tourist zone. During the ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, a contract was signed between MND France and the project office to begin construction of the resort. The resort will feature a gondola-type intermediate ropeway and a pendulum-type main ropeway, as well as 20 different winter and summer attractions, including 11 ski resorts. The resort aims to serve 3.1 million people each year and will create 451 new jobs.
