Mongolia and Singapore Explore Future Collaborations in Sports
In a bid to strengthen ties and foster collaboration in the sporting world, the Presidents of the Mongolia National Olympic Committee and Singapore National Olympic Committee recently held a meeting to discuss future partnerships in the Olympics and sports development.
Battushig Batbold, the President of the Mongolia National Olympic Committee since 2022 and a Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), met with the newly elected President of the National Olympic Committee of Singapore and Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, H.E. Grace Fu, on Monday.
The dialogue between the two Presidents centered on enhancing sporting cooperation between Mongolia and Singapore, with a specific focus on Olympic development. They exchanged knowledge and strategies to better support athletes, promote youth engagement in sports, and improve sporting infrastructures.
Both Battushig and Fu expressed their commitment to fostering deeper collaboration and explored new avenues for cooperation. This included discussions on joint training programs, the exchange of expertise in sports management, and initiatives that focus on sustainability in sports.
H.E. Grace Fu, who also highlighted Singapore’s emphasis on environmentally friendly practices, underlined the global importance of sustainability within sporting activities.
