MP Aigul Aidarova Expelled from Butun Kyrgyzstan Faction
BISHKEK – On June 5, 2024, MP Aigul Aidarova was expelled from the Butun Kyrgyzstan parliamentary faction, as reported by the 24.kg news agency. The faction’s leader, MP Iskhak Masaliev, cited systematic violations of labor discipline as the reason for her expulsion.
According to Masaliev, Aidarova failed to participate in the faction’s activities and meetings, and did not provide any explanations to the leadership for her absences. As a result, the decision was made to remove her from the faction.
“We will ask not to associate her with the Butun Kyrgyzstan faction anymore. The voters who supported us are upset by her behavior, and there are internal issues that we cannot disclose to the press,” Masaliev stated.
Despite being expelled from the faction, Aidarova still retains her position as a deputy in the parliament. The reasons for her consistent absence and lack of participation remain undisclosed.
This news highlights the importance of upholding labor discipline and fulfilling responsibilities as an elected official in Kyrgyzstan’s political landscape.
