Nation Alliance Ready for Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Turkey
The leaders of the six parties that make up the Nation Alliance have come together to discuss the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Turkey. The parties included in the Alliance are CHP, IYI Party, Felicity Party, Future Party, DEVA Party, and Democrat Party. The meeting, hosted by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, focused on campaign processes and ballot box security preparations.
In a statement released after the meeting, the Alliance announced that they were ready for the 192,229 ballot boxes with 561,977 staff and volunteers. The statement emphasized the Alliance’s commitment to a transparent and fair management approach, and the expectation that the voters would contribute to democracy in full.
The Presidential Election is set to take place on Sunday, May 14, 2023, and the 28th Term Parliamentary Election will coincide with it. The statement declared that the Nation Alliance was ready for these landmark elections that would usher in a new era for the country.
