Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya Announces Successful Operation Against Arms Smugglers
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya took to his social media account to share the exciting details of a recent operation carried out in all 81 provinces of the country. The operation, dubbed “Lens-25,” targeted arms smugglers and individuals in possession of unlicensed weapons.
A total of 2,738 weapons were seized during the operations, and legal action was taken against 2,459 suspects involved in illegal weapon possession. Minister Yerlikaya expressed his determination to continue cracking down on those who supply unlicensed weapons, stressing the importance of bringing them to justice.
In a statement, Minister Yerlikaya declared, “We will continue to catch those who supply unlicensed weapons one by one and bring them to justice. With your prayers and support, our fight against criminal groups who want their own dark order to prevail will continue unabated.”
