Bishkek – 12:11, 26 April 2025
A significant development in healthcare is underway in Ananyevo village, located in the Issyk-Kul region, as a new hospital with a capacity of 100 beds is set to be constructed. Aiperi Isaeva, the Health Care Coordinator for the region, confirmed this exciting initiative during an interview with the 24.kg news agency.
The planned hospital will be multidisciplinary, featuring essential departments including surgical units, intensive care facilities, and maternity wards. This advancement aims to enhance the medical services available to local residents, as well as those in surrounding areas.
Currently, Ananyevo only has a somatic department with a mere 25 beds, forcing many residents in need of medical care to travel to Cholpon-Ata for treatment. The new facility is expected to alleviate this issue, providing greater access to healthcare services for the community.
The construction of the hospital follows a resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers. Kyrgyzstroyservice, a state enterprise operating under the Presidential Administration, has been appointed as the general contractor responsible for both the design and construction of the new medical facility.
This development marks a crucial step towards improving healthcare access and quality in the Issyk-Kul region, promising to enhance the well-being of its residents.
