MHP Leader Bahçeli Addresses Journalists at Parliament Reception
MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli recently answered questions from journalists at the new legislative year reception held at the Parliament. When asked about shaking hands with Özel and Bakırhan during the opening of the new legislative year at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Bahçeli emphasized the importance of peace both domestically and internationally.
In response to a question about President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s warnings to Israel during the opening session, Bahçeli acknowledged Erdoğan’s stance on potential developments and his warning to the Turkish nation. When questioned about his interaction with Özgür Özel, Bahçeli stated that a handshake was a symbolic gesture of evaluation.
Furthermore, Bahçeli confirmed that he had contacted the DEM party and expressed his condolences. At the reception, Bahçeli also took the opportunity to chat with national paralympic athletes and pose for photos.
