The winter schedule at Budapest Airport kicked off today with the introduction of 9 new flights from various airlines including easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Air China, Swiss, and Vueling. Travelers can now enjoy new destinations such as Paris-CDG, Toulouse, Liverpool, Genoa, Marrakech, Memmingen, Salerno, Gran Canaria, and Bilbao thanks to Vueling.
As the winter season approaches, Budapest Airport, a part of VINCI Airports, is thrilled to offer these new flights starting on October 27th. With two new Spanish destinations, Gran Canaria and Bilbao, passengers can escape to sunny cities with mild winter weather. While Wizz Air provides direct flights to Gran Canaria, Vueling will offer direct flights to Bilbao starting in December.
Furthermore, the flight options to Paris have expanded with easyJet now offering flights to the city in addition to Air France. Ryanair is also introducing a new route to Toulouse, providing travelers with more choices for their French adventures. Budapest Airport now boasts a 38% increase in connections to France, making it a top destination in Europe.
In addition, Italy will have even more options with 13 cities available for travel this winter season. New coastal destinations in Genoa and Salerno will complement the existing Italian flights, offering more diverse choices for travelers.
For those looking to explore beyond Europe, Wizz Air’s Marrakech flight is a must-try. This Moroccan city offers warm weather, vibrant bazaars, and stunning architecture. Wizz Air will also launch a new flight to Memmingen in Germany, while Ryanair will fly to Warsaw for history enthusiasts.
The long-haul flights to Shanghai and Beijing will continue operating, providing more seats for passengers this winter season.
