Official Gazette Announcement: Promotions for Judges and Prosecutors
The decisions of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) regarding the lists of names of judges, chief public prosecutors, prosecutors, and administrative judiciary judges have been published in the Official Gazette. These lists include individuals who have completed their terms of office at various levels.
In a recent decision by the HSK, it was announced that judges of the judiciary, chief public prosecutors, prosecutors, and administrative judiciary judges who have been promoted to the first degree will be subject to examination for separation into first class as of August 31, 2024. The list consists of 41 judges, 17 prosecutors, and 11 administrative court judges. Those who are eligible for promotion in August 2024 were not included in this list.
Individuals who have been promoted to the first degree but do not see their names on the list can request a review of their situation by submitting a written application to the HSK within 30 days.
Furthermore, the HSK has also published lists containing the names of judges of the judiciary, chief public prosecutors, prosecutors, and administrative judiciary judges who have completed their 2-year promotion periods. These lists include information about the monthly salary received by these individuals until the end of August 2024.
