Organized Crime Group Member “Oguz” Arrested

A member of an organized crime group known as Oguz has been apprehended on suspicion of inciting mass riots, according to a report from the press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS).

The individual, identified as 36-year-old B.E.B., is listed as an active member of Kamchi Kolbaev’s organized crime group by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He has a history of previous convictions, including kidnapping and involvement in illegal drug production.

“It has been determined that the detained B.E.B. regularly posted on social media using fake accounts to encourage mass rioting, fueling a desire for retaliation following the elimination of K. Asanbek,” the statement reads.

A case has been initiated under the charge of “Mass riots” in accordance with the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. B.E.B. has been remanded to a pretrial detention facility as the investigation progresses.
