Our Historical Responsibility: Supporting Industrialists and Producers
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has recently begun a series of visits to civil society organizations, starting with the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry. Accompanied by Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova and other bureaucrats, Prime Minister Üstel met with the President of the Chamber of Industry, Ali Kamacıoğlu, and the Board of Directors during his visit.
Ali Kamacıoğlu expressed his appreciation for Prime Minister Üstel’s focus on production and stability, stating, “We, industrialists, are on the side of stability. We need to be stable, and for that, the country must also be stable. We hope to continue this trend during your term.” He also thanked the government for their support to industrialists and expressed hopes for increased support in the future.
In response, Prime Minister Üstel reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing support and incentives to help industrialists and producers succeed. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to address the economic challenges faced by the industrial sector and emphasized the importance of maintaining stability for the producing sectors.
Moreover, Prime Minister Üstel mentioned the government’s support for the solar energy production project SAN-HO, as well as ongoing energy investments and collaborations with the motherland Turkey. He emphasized the positive impact of these initiatives on industrialists and manufacturers, with benefits expected to extend to all segments, especially in 2025.
