Over 475,000 Vehicles Processed in One Week
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, has revealed that a substantial number of vehicles were inspected during a recent operation. Between the dates of 5th and 12th September 2024, a total of 2,667,955 vehicles underwent thorough checks by authorities.
Out of the vehicles inspected, a staggering 475,427 vehicles or drivers were found to be in violation of regulations and were consequently subjected to legal action. This highlights the importance of ensuring that all vehicles on the road comply with the necessary safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order on the streets.
The Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all citizens and the importance of adhering to traffic laws. He stated that such operations will continue to be carried out regularly to enforce compliance with regulations and keep the roads safe for everyone.
