Ozon Holdings PLC has unveiled its financial results for the first quarter of 2025, showcasing remarkable growth within the Kyrgyz Republic. The company’s press service revealed the details of their performance, highlighting significant milestones in the local e-commerce landscape.
In the first quarter of this year, Ozon’s turnover in Kyrgyzstan surged nearly fourfold compared to the same period in 2024. This impressive increase is accompanied by a nearly tripling of active sellers from Kyrgyzstan participating in the Ozon platform over the past year.
The company’s growth is not just limited to seller engagement; the number of clients in Kyrgyzstan has also seen more than a threefold increase year-on-year. Enhancing the shopping experience, customers are now placing an average of over 27 orders annually on Ozon—a rise of five orders compared to the previous year. This surge in activity has resulted in an overall increase in the total number of orders, which has nearly quadrupled year-on-year.
Ozon’s infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic is expanding as well, featuring a sorting center in Bishkek and an order acceptance point located in the bustling Dordoi market. These logistical improvements are essential to facilitating the burgeoning demand and enhancing customer satisfaction.
