Pakhtakor FC for Sale
The 100 percent state share of Pakhtakor Football Club LLC has been put up for sale, according to the State Assets Management Agency. The new owner of the club will be required to continue the activities of the academy and the club.
The privatization of the football club comes with certain requirements for the new owner. They must commit to maintaining, developing, and bringing the activity of the football club to the international level. Additionally, they are expected to use all sports facilities on the club’s balance sheet, including the football field, only for the purposes of sports activities. Furthermore, the new owner must continue to maintain and develop the activity of the Pakhtakor Football Club Academy.
Applications for ownership of the club will be accepted until 18:00 on February 15, 2024. The sale of the state’s share in the club presents an opportunity for new ownership to take the club to new heights and contribute to the development of football in the region.
