Panel on “Equality and Social Justice” Held at EMU for International Career Days
The Directorate of Communication and Career Research, in collaboration with Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) graduates, organized a panel on “Equality and Social Justice.” The panel was attended by various mayors who shared their insights and advice with the students.
Rector of EMU, Dr. Hasan Kılıç, expressed his hopes for the panel to be fruitful and beneficial for the attendees. Mayor of Famagusta, Süleyman Uluçay, advised students to persevere and not give up in the face of failure.
LEFKE Mayor Aziz Kaya, who is an EMU graduate himself, highlighted the strong bond he feels towards the university and its alumni. Similarly, Mehmet Harmancı, the Mayor of Nicosia Turkish, shared his pride in being an EMU graduate and emphasized the importance of fighting for equality and social justice.
Pier Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu stressed the significance of treating everyone equally and fairly in society. The panel served as a platform for these esteemed speakers to discuss and promote the values of equality and social justice among the students and the wider community.
