American Man with Essential Tremor Treated Successfully in Istanbul
Roger Dale Burnell, a 59-year-old American who has been suffering from Essential Tremor for 9 years, traveled from Portugal to Istanbul to seek treatment for his condition. Burnell’s biggest passion in life is playing the piano but due to his tremors, he had difficulty realizing his passion.
Upon arriving at the Medipol University Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER), Burnell was treated by Brain and Nerve Surgery Specialist Associate Professor Ali Zırh. After a successful pacemaker operation, Burnell has regained his old healthy days and can continue to bring notes to life from where he left off.
