A Prayer Program Held in Mosques for Martyrs and the Oppressed
The Diyanet has organized a special program titled “We Meet in Our Mosques, the Heart of the Cities, We Pray for Our Martyrs and the Oppressed” which took place in mosques across the country. The President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, participated in the prayer program at Hagia Sophia Mosque and addressed the congregation following the night prayer.
During his speech, Erbaş highlighted the ongoing oppression and occupation in Jerusalem, stating that the city has been plagued by strife and conflict for many years. He specifically mentioned the recent atrocities in Gaza and Palestine, where thousands of innocent people have lost their lives due to bombings by oppressors and invaders.
Erbaş also emphasized the significance of Anatolia, noting that the land has been colored by the blood of martyrs for centuries. He urged unity and solidarity among the people, cautioning against the threats posed by terrorist activities.
Following his address, President Erbaş led prayers for the martyrs and the oppressed in various parts of the world. The event served as a reminder of the importance of standing together in the face of adversity and offering support to those in need.
