
President and First Lady Visit Residential Complex Construction in Shusha.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev recently visited a residential complex in the city of Shusha to view the progress of the construction works. First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their family members also accompanied him on this visit.
The residential complex consists of 23 buildings and occupies a large area of eight hectares. The construction of eight buildings began on July 1, 2022, while the remaining 15 buildings were started on September 1, 2022. This complex, comprising three-storey and five-storey buildings, is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
During the visit, Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President in the Shusha district, updated the President and the First Lady on the progress of the works done. This residential complex will have a total of 450 apartments, including 28 one-room, 195 two-room, 190 three-room, 30 four-room, and seven five-room apartments.
This project is a significant step towards the development and reconstruction of the city of Shusha, which suffered significant damage during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The construction of this residential complex is part of Azerbaijan’s efforts to rebuild the area, which was liberated from Armenian occupation in 2020.
