President Erdoğan predicts record-breaking success at TEKNOFEST
President Erdogan took to social media to express his excitement for TEKNOFEST 2024, the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival which took place in Adana. In his post, President Erdogan stated that he hopes the festival will bring benefits to Adana, Turkey, and the nation as a whole, especially the young people who are interested in science, research, technology, and innovation.
He highlighted the growth of TEKNOFEST since its inception in 2018, with an increase in the number of participants and visitors each year. This year, more than 790 thousand teams and over 1 million 650 thousand competitors applied to participate in the festival across 50 different categories. President Erdogan expressed his belief that a new record in terms of visitors will be set this year.
President Erdogan congratulated all the young people and teams who received awards in the competitions at TEKNOFEST. He extended an invitation to all young people and children in the Mediterranean Region, particularly in Adana and Mersin, to visit Şakirpaşa Airport and experience the festival firsthand.
