
President Tatar Meets with Retired Pilot to Honor Air Martyrs

President Ersin Tatar Commemorates May 15 Air Martyrs’ Memorial Day
President Ersin Tatar recently met with retired pilot Ali Karaçoban to commemorate May 15 Air Martyrs’ Memorial Day. During the meeting, Karaçoban presented President Tatar with a book titled “Crane Bird Misali.”
President Tatar expressed his gratitude to Karaçoban for the thoughtful gift and took the opportunity to honor all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the national struggle, particularly mentioning Cengiz Topel and Martyr Major Fehmi Ercan. He also paid tribute to all the pilots who participated in the Turkish Air Force’s intervention in Cyprus.
Highlighting the advancements in Turkey’s national defense industry, President Tatar emphasized the strengthening of the Turkish Air Force through the incorporation of technological aircraft.
