Machine Malfunction on Boat with 3 People Rescued in Dardanelles
The Coastal Police responded to a distress call when a 7-meter-long boat with 3 people on board experienced a machine malfunction in front of Kilitbahir in the Dardanelles. The incident occurred recently and could have turned into a dangerous situation if not for the swift response of the authorities.
Upon receiving the notification, the KIYEM-1 fast rescue boat was dispatched to the scene to assist the stranded boat. The rescue team successfully backed up the distressed vessel and safely escorted it to the Eceabat Fishing Shelter, ensuring the safety of all passengers on board.
Thanks to the quick and efficient action of the Coastal Police, what could have been a potentially hazardous situation was resolved without any harm to the individuals involved. It serves as a reminder of the importance of being prepared for emergencies while out at sea and the crucial role that rescue teams play in ensuring the safety of maritime activities.
