Russian Ministry of Defense Confirms Ongoing Military Operations in Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the Russian army has continued its attacks in Ukraine, using long-range, high-precision weapons and weapons from sea and air, including the hypersonic ‘Kinjal’ missile system. In a statement released by the Ministry, it was reported that the attacks targeted military industry elements that produce artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine.
The statement also mentioned that a group attack with UAVs was carried out, and all identified elements were hit. Since the beginning of the military operation, the Russian military has reportedly destroyed 567 aircraft, 265 helicopters, 10,641 UAVs, 448 air defense missile systems, 14,588 tanks and armored vehicles, 1,202 multi-barreled rocket launchers, 7,704 howitzers and mortars, and 17 missiles belonging to the Ukrainian army. Furthermore, 1,376 special military vehicles were also destroyed.
This latest development underscores the intensification of military operations in the region, with no signs of a de-escalation in the near future. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has raised concerns internationally, with calls for a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
