Russian Army Attacks Supermarket in Ukrainian City, 10 Dead and 35 Injured
A heartbreaking attack on a supermarket in the city of Konstantinivka in Ukraine has led to the loss of 10 lives and left 35 people injured. Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko provided updates on the search and rescue efforts conducted by the Russian army following the devastating attack.
Klimenko shared on social media that the fire, which engulfed an area of approximately 1,000 square meters as a result of the attack, has been extinguished. He also noted that several buildings in the city, in addition to the supermarket, have been damaged.
The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, condemned the attack and vowed that Russia would be held accountable for the act of terrorism. He called for continued support from the international community for Ukraine in this difficult time.
Vadim Filashkin, the head of the Military Administration of Ukraine’s Donetsk Region, revealed that the Russian army carried out the attack on Konstantinivka using artillery systems.
