SCNS Arrests Member of Kadyrbek Dosonov’s Organized Crime Group
SCNS detains member of organized crime group in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek – 15:56, 14 September 2024 – The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has reported the detention of a member of the organized crime group of Kadyrbek Dosonov, also known as Dzhengo. According to the press service of the SCNS, the individual illegally took away real estate from entrepreneurs in Osh and Osh region, using threats of physical violence and murder.
The citizen allegedly took possession of a cotton factory in Shark village in Kara-Suu district, a tractor garage, an oil factory, and a greenhouse in Kashkar-Kyshtak village in Kara-Suu district. Furthermore, he reportedly promised to secure a preferential loan, only to re-register industrial facilities under his own name.
During a search at his residence, authorities found and seized two units of smooth-bore firearms, knives, an ID card of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and documents related to the industrial facilities in question.
