Turkish defense industry continues to make breakthroughs in the field of military technology. Earlier this week, Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baykar and TEKNOFEST, announced that a cruise missile had been launched from a SİHA (unmanned aerial vehicle) and hit the target with full accuracy for the first time in the world. The test was carried out using the Bayraktar AKINCI and the Çakır Cruise Missile.
The Defense Industry President, Ismail Demir, also shared photos of the TAYFUN Ballistic Missile, which hit the target with a precise hit at long range in its last test before landing on the field. In his social media post, Demir praised the hard work of those working in the industry, saying that they continue to work day and night for the country’s independence and future in land, air, sea, and space.
These advancements in military technology are essential for Turkey’s defense against potential threats and for strengthening the country’s defense industry. They also serve as evidence of Turkey’s growing global influence in the field of military technology.
