Senior Assistant Prosecutor in Syrdarya Region Arrested with Powerful Drugs
Law enforcement officers in Uzbekistan have seized a significant amount of the potent drug “Zardex” during an operation in the Zangiota district of Tashkent region. The State Security Service reported that 50 tablets of “Zardex” were found in the car of the Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor of Syrdarya region, whose name was not disclosed.
The operation also led to the arrest of a resident of Bulungur district, Samarkand region, in Tashkent city. This individual was caught with 300 tablets of “Zardex” and is believed to have been involved in selling the drugs. It was revealed that these potent drugs were illegally smuggled from Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, a pre-investigation inquiry into the case is ongoing to further investigate the situation and ensure justice is served. The authorities are working diligently to crack down on the illegal drug trade and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
