Shusha Electric Networks’ Innovative Technologies Center Inaugurated by President Ilham Aliyev
On May 9th, President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan inaugurated the Innovative Technologies Center of the Shusha Electric Networks owned by “Azerishig” OJSC. During the ceremony, Vugar Ahmadov, Chairman of the “Azerishig” Open Joint-Stock Company, presented the head of state with a briefing on the works that have been carried out.
The newly-built Innovative Technologies Center of the Electric Networks boasts several facilities such as different capacity transformers, a new 35kV substation, electronic-type protective relay, SCADA dispatch control systems, and an electric car charging station. Furthermore, solar panels have been installed to ensure eco-friendliness.
The use of these advanced technological facilities will enable the Shusha Electric Networks to function even more efficiently, delivering electricity to the Shusha region and its nearby areas.
As he officially opened the Innovative Technologies Center, President Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the successful completion of the project. The center demonstrates Azerbaijan’s commitment to using innovative technologies to improve the lives of its citizens and continue development in all aspects of modern life.
The establishment of the Innovative Technologies Center of the Shusha Electric Networks marks another step in the renovation of the Shusha region following the victory in the Patriotic War. President Ilham Aliyev has taken numerous initiatives for the reintegration of the region into the country’s national life, and the opening of this center is the latest demonstration of such reconstruction.
