Slovenia: Ideal Logistics and Business Hub for Azerbaijan in the EU

Slovenia Positioned as an Ideal Business and Logistics Hub for Azerbaijan in the EU
During the Azerbaijani-Slovenian business forum in Baku, Mitia Blaganje, secretary general of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sports of Slovenia, highlighted the strategic positioning of Slovenia as an ideal logistics and business hub for Azerbaijan in the European Union.
Blaganje emphasized that Slovenia’s geographical location at the crossroads of key pan-European transport corridors, along with the presence of the leading North Adriatic port in Koper, makes it a prime candidate for facilitating regional trade. Additionally, Slovenia boasts a highly educated and multilingual workforce, offering a reliable and innovative partnership for companies looking to expand in the region.
“We are prepared to provide comprehensive support to companies interested in establishing a presence in the region, both from the Ministry and the SPIRIT Slovenia agency,” noted Blaganje.
Slovenia’s strategic location, combined with its skilled workforce and supportive business environment, positions it as an attractive partner for Azerbaijan to consider for expanding its business operations in the European market.
