State Officials Visit Anıtkabir, Erdogan Ensures Homeland’s Protection – Breaking News
The Republic of Türkiye celebrated its 101st anniversary with various ceremonies and events across the country. The main ceremony took place at Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of the Republic’s founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in the capital city Ankara.
The celebrations began with dignitaries walking on the Road of Lions at Anıtkabir, followed by the laying of wreaths at the mausoleum. President Erdoğan, along with other officials, paid tribute to Atatürk with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem.
President Erdoğan then signed the Anıtkabir Special Book with a heartfelt message to Atatürk, expressing pride in reaching the 101st anniversary of the Republic and emphasizing the importance of protecting the homeland.
In addition to the ceremonies at Anıtkabir, demonstration flights by SOLOTÜRK and Turkish Stars were held in Istanbul and Izmir respectively. The Turkish Naval Forces also visited 29 ports with 29 ships to mark the occasion.
The day concluded with a reception at Beştepe, where President Erdoğan accepted congratulations from state officials, politicians, foreign mission chiefs, national athletes, and artists. The event at the Presidential Complex Exhibition Hall was attended by over 2,000 guests, symbolizing the unity and pride of the Republic of Türkiye on its 101st anniversary.
