State reclaims privatized kindergarten in Osh from former mayor
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has successfully returned a kindergarten in the Syn-Tash aiyl aimak of Issyk-Ata district, Chui region back to the state. This preschool educational institution, which catered to 140 children, was illegally privatized in 2005 by the former mayor of Osh, Satybaldy Chyrmashev.
The territory of the kindergarten, spanning 0.53 hectares with a useful area of 1,094 square meters, is located at Issyk-Ata district, Syn-Tash aiyl aimak, Novaya street, house No. 19a, and has now been returned to the state’s ownership. Following an agreement on the transfer of property into ownership, on March 14, 2025, the kindergarten was officially transferred to the balance sheet of Syn-Tash aiyl okmotu of Issyk-Ata district, Chui region.
This move signifies a significant step towards restoring public properties that were wrongfully taken into private hands, ensuring that essential facilities like kindergartens remain accessible to the community. The SCNS continues its efforts to uphold the rule of law and protect state assets for the benefit of all citizens.
