Minister Erhan Arıklı Inspects Construction Works at Kyrenia Bridge Interchange
Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı recently visited the construction site of the Kyrenia Bridge Interchange, located at the intersection of the Nicosia-Kyrenia main road and the Nicosia northern ring road. During his inspection, Minister Arıklı expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, noting that a significant portion of the intersection has been completed thanks to the support of the Republic of Türkiye.
Arıklı announced that the government has pledged to complete the road works by April 1 in order to alleviate traffic congestion in the country. He emphasized the importance of fulfilling this promise to the people and ensuring a smoother flow of traffic in the area.
In addition to the Kyrenia Bridge Interchange project, Minister Arıklı revealed plans to initiate improvement works on the Güvercinlik-Çayönü and Erenköy-Dipkarpaz main roads. He emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and transportation networks to better serve the public.
Arıklı concluded by stating, “When we are proactive and productive, we are more motivated to serve our people. We are dedicated to improving the quality of transportation and infrastructure in the region for the benefit of all citizens.” With ongoing projects like the Kyrenia Bridge Interchange, the government is taking steps to further develop the country’s transportation infrastructure.
