Terrorist Plot Foiled in Siirt as Attacker is Apprehended
Siirt Governorship has announced that operations against the PKK/KCK terrorist organization are still ongoing in coordination with the Provincial Police Department, Intelligence, and TEM Branch Directorates. During the preparations for an action in the city, a member of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization identified as BB was apprehended. The authorities discovered that BB was in possession of 1 AK-47 Kalashnikov rifle and 2 hand grenades.
Furthermore, it has been revealed through ongoing investigations that several individuals within the organization were involved in courier/collaborator activities. As a result, 13 suspects have been arrested in simultaneous operations conducted against 22 suspects in the provinces of Siirt, Batman, Şırnak, and Mardin.
The operations have also led to the confiscation of a significant amount of digital materials during the searches carried out as part of the ongoing efforts against the organization. This information was provided in a recent statement by the Siirt Governorship.
