Abundance of Fish in Fish Stalls Across the Country
The cold weather has brought an abundance of fish to the stalls across the country. Fishermen from Sakarya’s Kocaali district have been returning with boats full of red mullet and horse mackerel in recent days, thanks to the plentiful catch in the Black Sea.
Fishermen Semih Balcıoğlu and Uğur Çelebi have expressed their satisfaction with the current season, stating that the abundance of red mullet and horse mackerel is expected to continue until the end of the month. They mentioned that they have nearly half a ton of red mullet and 300-400 kilograms of horse mackerel, with prices being affordable for customers.
Customers like Ahmet Gürbüz, who came to purchase fish from Akçakoca, have been pleased with the availability and quality of fish. They have praised the deliciousness of Black Sea fish and the affordability of prices this season.
Fish seller Mürvet Köse highlighted the fruitful year for fish sales, mentioning that bonito, horse mackerel, anchovies, and red mullet are all abundant. He welcomed customers to their stalls, encouraging people to enjoy the variety of fish available.
