In Niğde, a shocking event recently took place where individuals attempted to sell a mummy from the Middle Ages. The Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams in the district of Bor were able to uncover this illegal activity as part of their efforts to combat smuggling of cultural and natural artifacts.
Six individuals were detained in connection with the attempted sale of the male human mummy, known as Hg. The integrity of the mummy’s body was preserved and handed over to the authorities for further investigation.
