First Lady Emine Erdoğan Attends “Future Writers Platform 10th Anniversary Event”
First Lady Emine Erdoğan recently attended the “Future Writers Platform 10th Anniversary Event” held at the Turkcell Küçükyalı Plaza. At the event, Erdoğan praised the “Future Writers Project,” stating that it is a very meaningful program that lives up to its name. She expressed her appreciation for Turkcell’s efforts in teaching women and young girls to write the future of the country through this platform.
During her speech, Erdoğan highlighted the significant impact of the project, which has reached 10 million users and has provided digital-based training to 30 thousand young people and classroom training to 300 young people. She also noted the contributions made by the Women Writing the Future Platform to the working and education lives of young girls and mentioned the personal and technical training support provided to more than 7 thousand earthquake victims this year.
Emphasizing the importance of preparing young people for the future, Erdoğan stated that the responsibility of raising young people with an awareness of trust in their country lies with all individuals. She urged young people to recognize that they hold the future of Turkey in their hands and that it is their duty to prepare both themselves and the country for the new future.
Erdoğan also stressed the significance of digital transformation, particularly in terms of the opportunities it offers to humanity, highlighting the importance of women’s participation in shaping the future through technology.
Furthermore, she addressed the potential threats and opportunities in cyberspace, emphasizing the need for ethical rules and safety measures in the virtual world.
Erdoğan praised the women who are leading in the field of cyber security and encouraged young girls to become stronger and help empower other women around the world.
In her closing remarks, Erdoğan congratulated the individuals who received awards at the event and expressed her hope for the continued growth and impact of similar initiatives in the future.
The event also saw the presence of Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, who attended the program hosted by Turkcell Chairman Şenol Kazancı.
Following her speech, First Lady Emine Erdoğan presented awards to the winners of various training programs, and was briefed on the content of the Cyber Security Handbook and the trainings and applications developed by Turkcell.
