Traffic to be Impacted by Rallies in Trabzon, Roads to be Closed
Trabzon to Close Roads for Political Rallies
In Trabzon, some roads will be closed due to political rallies organized by the MHP and IYI parties. The Provincial Police Department announced safety measures for the rallies which will take place in different locations and on different days.
The MHP rally will be held in Gülbahar Hatun Mahallesi Atapark Area between 08.30 and 16.30 hours. The route between the new governor’s office, connection roads in front of İnönü Caddesi Junction and Hatuncuk Mosque on Trabzonspor Boulevard will be closed to traffic. The road next to Mumcular Sokak Varlıbaş Shopping Center will also be closed to vehicles.
On the other hand, the IYI party will organize a rally in the City Square between 14.00-18.30. The Şehit İbrahim Karaoğlan Caddesi, between Port Junction and Taşbaşı Square and its connection roads, Baro Junction square entrance, connection road from Imperial Hospital to Gazipaşa Street, and the square area will be closed to vehicle traffic.
The city officials urge drivers and commuters to take alternative routes during the event and follow traffic regulations to avoid any inconvenience. The police assured that measures are in place to provide safe and secure rallies for the participants.
