Truck Goes Up in Flames, Rendered Unusable While Driving – Latest News from Turkey
A truck caught fire in the Karacalar District Yemişlisu area, causing a scare for the driver, Kerim Şanlı. The incident occurred suddenly while Şanlı was driving the truck with plate number 07 E 3499.
Upon noticing smoke coming from the front of the vehicle, Şanlı quickly steered the truck onto a secondary road and into an empty field. He promptly got out of the truck and attempted to extinguish the flames himself. Fortunately, the Manavgat Forest Management Directorate’s first response vehicle happened to pass by the scene and immediately intervened to put out the fire.
Thanks to the quick response of the teams, the fire was successfully extinguished, and further cooling efforts were carried out to ensure the safety of the area. Unfortunately, the truck suffered severe damage and was left completely unusable in the aftermath of the incident.
